1. When is camp taking place?
Pioneer/Patriot High Adventure Camp - June 12-18, 2022
Southwest Resident Camp - June 12-18, 2022
Tenderheart Day Camp - June 13-17, 2022
2. Where is camp taking place?
For the safety of the girls, the specific camp name and location are available on the password protected camps pages. Please see your Troop Coordinator or contact us for password information.
3. Who can attend summer camp?
Resident Camp - Rising 2nd year & 3rd year Tenderhearts (with parent) to Patriots can attend Resident Camp
High Adventure Camp - Only Patriots & 2nd Year Pioneers (with PRIORITY going to Patriots) can attend High Adventure Camp
Day Camp - Tenderhearts ONLY can attend Day Camp

4. Do I have to be an AHG registered girl to attend?
Yes! Please contact your troop for more information on how to become a registered member of AHG OR click the link to visit AHG's website OR contact us via the Contact page for more information on finding a troop in your area.

5. Do I have to be an AHG registered adult to attend?
Each troop MUST send a minimum two adults to camp to cover AHG ratio policies. At least one adult must be a registered AHG leader. ALL adults attending camp must complete online KEYS (registered adults and volunteers). Please speak to your troop coordinator to complete the KEYS training if you have not already done so. Proof of completed KEYS training is required with registration.
***If your troop is having difficulty getting the minimum of 2 adults to attend camp, please contact us to discuss other AHG approved options / parent-daughter groups are acceptable as well and do not require an additional adult***
6. How much does camp cost? What is included?
Southwest Resident Camp - cost EARLY BIRD (Register before March 20th with full payment by April 1) $305 girl/ $275 adult - After March 20th, $340 per girl / $310 adult, which includes all meals and snacks, badge work, supplies, free time activities, evening activities, one camp t-shirt, and a camp patch.
High Adventure Camp - cost EARLY BIRD (Register before March 20th with full payment by April 1) $440 girl/ $440 adult - After March 20th, $475 per girl / $475 adult, which includes all meals and snacks, adventure activities, supplies, evening activities, one camp shirt, and a camp patch.
Day Camp - cost EARLY BIRD (Register before March 20th with full payment by April 1) $165 girl/ $100 adult/ $60 adult volunteer - After March 20th, $200 per girl / $140 adult / $100 adult volunteer, which includes lunch and snack, badge work, evening activities, supplies, evening activities, one camp shirt, and a camp patch.
7. Are there any additional costs?
YES. There will be a snack shack at the Southwest Resident Camp which the girls can purchase snacks, drinks, and special camp mementos.
8. What badges will be offered during camp?
High Adventure Camp is an experience-based program where portions of badges may be completed during, and in preparation for, high adventure activities, but are not the main focus of the camp. You can see sample of previous High Adventure Camp activities on the High Adventure page
Resident and Day Camp campers will be offered to work on a minimum of six badges during the week. Badge selection sheets will be sent out once registration forms have been received.

9. When and how can I reserve my spot(s) for summer camp?

Reservations will be accepted AFTER MARCH 2nd. Registration is first-come, first-serve and will fill up quickly! The link for the online Registration Form is available on the Registration page or click on the link above.
10. When are the completed Registration Forms due?
ALL online registration forms and payment in full are due to the camp registrar no later than May 15, 2022. All other completed registration forms will be turned in by your Troop Representative at camp check-in. The girl and adult online registration form is available on the How to Register page. Other camp forms are available on Registered Camper page and are password protected. Please see your invoice, or contact us for password information.
11. What if my child has allergies, medical conditions, and/or special needs?
Please indicate ALL allergies on the registration form. If you require medically necessary food that needs to be brought to camp and stored, please contact us. Girls who need asthma inhalers or EpiPens may carry them with them during camp. ALL medications must be turned over to the camp nurse and accompanied by a Medication Administration form for EACH medication at check-in. If your daughter has special needs or needs special accommodations, include the information on the registration form. Please see the Camp Rules and Policies Acknowledgement for detailed information. Please Contact the Host Troop to make arrangements for special needs children.
12. Is there anything my child cannot bring to camp?
GIRLS MAY NOT BRING ANY ELECTRICAL DEVICES TO CAMP. If a girl chooses to bring an electronic device to camp, she may be sent home. Please see the Camp Rules and Policies Acknowledgement for detailed information on prohibited items.
CAMP IS NUT FREE. Due to multiple girls and adults with severe nut allergies, camp will be maintained as nut free at all times.
CAMP IS FRAGRANCE-FREE. Due to multiple girls and adults with sensitivities to chemical fragrances, please leave those items at home.
13. How can I contact my child at camp if there is an emergency at home?
The camp registrar will be our emergency contact for camp. Her cell phone number and direct email will be provided to parents once registration has been completed. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE CAMP DIRECTLY.
